“What we do today shapes what the world will look like tomorrow.” – Anonymous
With this philosophy at heart, we at SKOPOS have decided to donate a portion of our profits to charity every year since 2021. Each year, we carefully select organizations from different sectors such as health, nature protection, poverty prevention, inclusion and children’s aid. Our aim is to support a diverse mix of organizations in order to make a positive and sustainable contribution. Retroactively for 2022, we are donating a total of €15,600.
Every employee at SKOPOS has the opportunity to submit suggestions for suitable organizations and thus actively participate in this process. In this way, we were already able to support charities such as Amnesty International, water.org, Seebrücke and the Amadeu Antonio Foundation in their important work and help other people in 2021. In 2022, we made donations to organizations such as the Child Protection Association, German Cancer Aid and Naturschutzbund Deutschland. But we also support initiatives such as PETA, Welthungerhilfe, the street watchdogs and Deutschland hilft.
The Child Protection Association is committed to the rights of all children and young people in Germany. The aim is to promote their physical, psychological and social development. The charity seeks dialogue with politicians and public spaces in order to represent the interests of children. Major projects in 2022 included child protection in the digital age and a campaign against mental violence.
German Cancer Aid is committed to finding a cure for all types of cancer. New impulses for cancer research and improved treatment options are a top priority. In 2022 alone, German Cancer Aid drove forward 124 new projects and initiatives, including projects in the field of cancer prevention.
NABU (Naturschutzbund Deutschland) is committed to protecting nature through various measures such as species protection projects, environmental education and the conservation of endangered habitats. With our donation, we also support NABU in preserving biodiversity and promoting the sustainable use of natural resources.
SKOPOS is also involved in exceptional circumstances. For example, we have already donated to organizations that provided aid during the flood disaster in the Ahr valley and the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
We firmly believe that economic success and social responsibility can go hand in hand. At SKOPOS, we are passionate about shaping a world in which we can create a sustainable and better future together.
