How we optimized internal market research processes together with REWE Group.
The challenge
Process optimization
The REWE Group’s Market Research department carries out ad hoc market research projects for various specialist departments throughout the Group. In recent years, the need for research within the company has grown steadily, and the desire for speed and agility has grown, so that the market research department has increasingly reached the limits of its capacity.
In addition, the degree of standardization was low despite recurring questions, e.g. in the context of packaging or handout tests. Internal coordination, study setup and reporting took too much time, even for frequently asked questions, and there were no reliable benchmarks to classify the results.
The goal
Standardization & Automation
The joint development of a customized solution to standardize and automate selected project types with the goal of becoming a Data Driven Company and increasing the speed of project delivery.
The personnel resources thus saved should instead be used for complex individual studies. In addition, maximum transparency and an automated benchmark database will be sought, creating a Group-wide results hub.
